Snapshot and incremental backups to object storage.

Combee backs up Cell data to S3-compatible object storage.

  • Snapshot: a consistent point-in-time image of the Cell.
  • Incremental: archives the database plus the current WAL, shortening recovery time to seconds.

  • Backups live outside the Cell — deleting the Cell keeps existing backups.

  • In the managed cloud, backups run automatically; on self-hosted setups they are configured in Object Storage.
